Then the Words Hold Meaning

Then the Words Hold Meaning

What is left of a word

When said a dozen times a day

Like me or my or I

Meaning long since lost

Lost to sands of repetition

Killed by you and I

Decimate the act of speaking

Repress the words of meaning

Burry, burry, burry

Await the end

Dream the perfect moment

Only then speak things unspoken

And then see them flutter

Like new birds

In the dying wind.
